What is so inhumane of shooting a seriously injured cat. At least it was quick. They want to starve Terri Schiavo. It would be more humane to shoot her too. The shooting part was sarcasm of course. Forgive me.

lol you read about the fact that they used a taser on it first right? thats the inhumane part i would assume. the police are taser happy thats my reasoning for posting this story in the first place.

The police told the cat to come down from the rafters and what did this cat do? The cat did not comply to the police demands. I read somewhere the cat said meow and flipped the cops the middle claw. This was a standoff and I admire the police in taking action in order to protect the community from this menace.
In this day and age where animals have equal rights, well they have equal resposibilities as well. This cat was a criminal and the taser may have still been under warranty. The police had to use it on something. Wayward cats are one of the most lethal threats to our society today. They have teeth and claws and really make a racket when they are getting it on in back alleys. I think the police did a wonderful job to stop this threat. I am getting sick and tired of all this preferential treatment for cats. We must stop this scourge with all means at our disposal be it tasers, bazookas, or bomb laden scratching posts.
